Literature Text

You've seen the seasons passing by
Timeless is your tired sigh,
Ageless is your mystery
Filled with so much history,
Skin softened by the slimy snails
Can still be rather tough as nails,
Reaching always for the sky
I wonder what it is you spy,
------------------------------------------------------------
Days of wonder, days of rot
Filling water in a pot,
Cooking soup on wood of old
Fighting off a nasty cold,
Trees above and trees below
I wonder if they'll ever know,
Casting shadows in the night
Filling me with dreadful fright,
Little faces in the bark
Makes me happy as a lark,
Sitting by my old dear friend
Hoping it will never end.
This one was fun to write. At the time I had thought of it as two different poems, then in my Poetry Class it changed and somehow became one big poem and that was how it was critiqued sort of. I hadn't changed it quite yet and wanted to know what people thought.

again for this one be brutally honest. I like feedback.

Also there are a few ways to read this, you could read it as two separate poems and critique them both or make it one big one and critique it as a whole. The choice I leave to you. =^_^=
